The INSUCOZI was started when the inventor’s four year old Daughter Molly was diagnosed with Diabetes. For the first few months or so they had a hard time drawing up the different Insulins in the correct dosage and order. One morning while drawing up a shot, a vial was dropped on a tile floor and broke. They knew there had to be a way to protect and help identify their Insulin.
We started the process of bringing the INSUCOZI to the public in September 2006. The patent was filed for, and the FDA approval process was started. We finally received the FDA’s approval in January 2008
We first debuted the INSUCOZI at the 2008 Denver Diabetes EXPO where we met many people who had had similar troubles with their Insulin.
